Built by J.H. Koontz
c. 1883 the building is a Greek Revival style. The porch
and balcony in the
photo were pulled down by a run away horse and wagon
soon after the photo
was taken. The hotel was also home to the undertaker,
whose workshop was
on the third floor. The hotel closed in the late 1960s,
but the restaurant
& Flying Buffalo Saloon continue today.
