The City of Echo is preparing to celebrate it’s 29th year as a Tree City USA with the annual Tree Fair and Arbor Day Celebration on Thursday, April 19th at 12:35 pm.

Mayor Jeanie Hampton has organized a series of stations such as a tree-related craft and Tree Story Time. Echo School Children will rotate between the stations located in City Park, at City Hall, Fort Henrietta Park playground and VFW Hall. Preschool children and anyone interested are welcome to attend.

Refreshments will be provided at the playground station and you can sign up for a door prize there. Each elementary class will receive a tree-related book for their class library. The library will be displaying tree-related library books this month.
