Diane Berry, our city administrator-recorder, will soon be retiring after 39 years working for the city. As a result the council will need to decide how they want to structure the position and set priorities. What do you envision for the city for the next few years? What services or programs should be priorities?

As city administrator-recorder, Berry has also served as library director, chief gardener, bookkeeper, payroll director-clerk and grant writer. Realistically, she says, it will be hard for the council to find one person willing to take on all of these areas of responsibility, especially with our budget. Should services be contracted out? Consolidated?
