City Hall Closure

Home > News and Events

The City of Echo administration has decided to make a difficult decision and temporarily close City Hall to the public. Rest assured that the City is open for business and will continue to serve the patrons and keep the utility services operational. If you need to talk with the City, please call 541-376-8411. The City Administrator will meet with individuals on an appointment basis and will require the patron to use sanitizer when entering and that you not come in if you have been sick, are sick or have a family member sick in the last 14 days.

We are accepting utility payments in the mail slot at the front door of City Hall and if you need library services we will still continue our curb side service. You should call ahead and make your order and our library staff will deliver it to you outside.

Notice: If you have been laid off, your business has been affected due to executive orders or ill due to COIVD-19 and are unable to make your utility payments please make an appointment with the Dave Slaght at City Hall via phone at 541-376-8411. He will work with you, as he has developed a hardship program to help our patrons and businesses get through this very difficult time.

This closure will be re-evaluated every week and we will keep everyone informed.

Thank you,

David Slaght
