National Night Out in Echo

Annual Event in August
Echo, Oregon
Info: (541) 376-8411

National Night Out in Echo is held each August in the park and at the Masonic Lodge. We invite you to come and meet your neighbors, make a statement against crime and show your support for local law enforcement.

All the events and food are free. A meal consisting of hotdogs, sausage dogs, chips, cake and punch will be served in the Masonic Lodge. There will be individual doorprizes as well as drawings for bigger prizes such as T-shirts, DVDs, and other donated items. Bingo is always a big hit.

National Night Out relies on your donations. If you would be willing to make a cash or prize donation, please drop it by city hall. We are also looking for volunteers to run children's games or help serve.

Echo has been participating in National Night Out since 2005. As a small community of about 1000 people, including the surrounding rural area, the town only has need for one gathering. So each August, residents aging from newborn to 80-plus-years-old gather in the city’s George Park for food, games and more.

Adventure to Americana

Echo's Red to Red Cross Country Cycle Race heads our growing list of annual events held throughout the community.
